I graduated from college this year and decided to crochet my cap for the ceremony! I used this pattern. My family and friends were able to spot me easily among the sea of graduating students because of it! And the elephant pin was given to me by my mom for good luck ♡
Crocheted ornaments in the shape of diplococci bacteria that I made for my friends as end-of-the year gifts! (We’re all microbiology majors)
Graduation is approaching! And as goodbye presents, I’m crocheting microbes for my fellow microbiology majors. Definitely the only time when giving someone the Clap can be considered cute and harmless!
It’ll be the 2nd year in a row that i won’t be seeing my mom on Mother’s Day, but tonight my brother is driving to Davis to secretly pick up the card i made her. Distance isn’t going to stop me from showing love to my beautiful mamaaa!
I know it’s Spring, but this morning felt like Christmas! I came home for Spring break so my mom welcomed me back with some lovely gifts! Yarn for my sweater and an entire shoe box of buttons that she won at an ebay auction :P
Monday-night study break: Watching Rise of the Guardians and knitting my blanket!

stitch--please said: Your orange cable sweater is stunning! I adore the large cables. Are you making up the pattern as you go or could you link me to the pattern?
Aw you’re too kind thank you!!! The design is based on this picture I saw on Pinterest. Unfortunately, that one didn’t come with any sort of pattern so I’m kind of making it up as I go.
For now, what I have is a very incomplete schematic of what I’m attempting to do lol. Once I work out the technical kinks in my design, I will certainly make the pattern available!
I started knitting this sweater over a month ago, and it’s finally starting to look like a sweater!!! I’m using ladder stitch for the sleeves, plait cables for the body, and broken rib stitch for the sections between each cable
