Had to rip it and start over. Story of my knit-life
spinning-my-spokes asked: I was looking at the knitting tag and a post of your came up and just wanted to say: I'm reading the same thing! And I'm knitting while reading it! :P small world! You're a lot more advanced at knitting than I am though. It looks great in the pic! :)
small world indeed! what an awesome coincidence! :) It’s a great read isn’t it? And aww thanks so much for your kind words <3

A simple Father’s Day card I made for my sweet, dorky daddy. It also matches my mom’s Mother’s Day card!
DIY Woven Jersey Sweatshirt. So much easier than it looks. Tutorial from The Forge here.

I also taught one of my girls (right) how to crochet! What I loved about this was that even though she had a hard time in the beginning, she didn’t give up or get discouraged. She would start over, try again, and keep going! To the point where I couldn’t get her to separate from her project! Lol she kept saying “Just one more row!” …Even chocolate cake couldn’t pull her away from her project hehehe

Here I’m teaching one of my good friends (left) how to cast on. She’s an incredibly fast learner! In less than an hour she was already knitting and purling with very little of my guidance! …I remember the first time I tried these techniques, I was a confused bunny for several torturous hours. Yet it only took her one evening to get the rhythm! It made me so happy <3
