Almost done knitting the back of my Jeanne D’Arc sweater!
I know it’s Spring, but this morning felt like Christmas! I came home for Spring break so my mom welcomed me back with some lovely gifts! Yarn for my sweater and an entire shoe box of buttons that she won at an ebay auction :P
Monday-night study break: Watching Rise of the Guardians and knitting my blanket!
hitchcock--starlet asked: Do you have a pattern for your current sweater? If not, pleeeease make one to sell! It's AWESOME!
thank you so much, I’m glad you like it!!! :) I’ll try my best to make the pattern available as soon as it’s complete!
justapalebluedot asked: hi! your orange sweater wip popped up on my dash and it looks gorgeous! what yarn is that? it looks so cozy :D
aw thanks a lot!!!! I’m using Wool-Ease worsted yarn in the color Pumpkin :)
stitch--please asked: Your orange cable sweater is stunning! I adore the large cables. Are you making up the pattern as you go or could you link me to the pattern?
Aw you’re too kind thank you!!! The design is based on this picture I saw on Pinterest. Unfortunately, that one didn’t come with any sort of pattern so I’m kind of making it up as I go.
For now, what I have is a very incomplete schematic of what I’m attempting to do lol. Once I work out the technical kinks in my design, I will certainly make the pattern available!
I started knitting this sweater over a month ago, and it’s finally starting to look like a sweater!!! I’m using ladder stitch for the sleeves, plait cables for the body, and broken rib stitch for the sections between each cable
More dreamz interchangeable needles! Last year, my brother introduced me to the dreamz collection, and they’ve been my favorite needles ever since. The set he gave me came with sizes 4 through 11 so finally, I decided to purchase the rest of the large sizes!
Keaton hat in progress: Wool of the Andes Tweed yarn is still my favorite from Knitpicks! I used Oyster Heather for the bottom of the hat and switched to Thirst Heather for the rest
My friends looking gorgeous in the headbands I made them for Christmas ♥ These were sooo much fun to make! I tried to choose patterns based on each of their unique styles, and I think it was a success! Pattern links: 1, 2, 3
